How to culture farm snails

<

Screw Pool Construction

Select a screw pool with ample water, flowing water and no pollution. The general pool is 1.5 meters wide, 10 to 15 meters long and 30 to 50 centimeters deep. A dike with a height of 20 centimeters is built between the two pools for walking. The bottom of the pond is filled with 10 centimeters thick mud. In the pond, aquatic plants such as white peony, asparagus, water lotus, and duckweed can be sparsely planted, and the snails can be shaded and sheltered from the summer, climbed inhabitants, and provided with bait to increase the utilization rate of the snails. A 60-80 cm wall or mesh fence is built around the lake.

Reliance pool and management

Place 100 to 120 species of snails per square meter. You can also take 4 summer flowers. Before putting on the snails, first put a proper amount of manure in the pond, cultivate the food organisms, and feed the leaves, rice bran, bean cake, vegetable cake and animal internal organs and other leftovers after putting snails. After the cake is soaked, it is softened and then fed. The other feed is chopped and mixed uniformly. The feeding amount is generally 1% to 3% of the total weight of the snail, and it is fed 2 to 3 days, and the growth and feeding conditions of the snail are considered. Adjust the feeding amount.

The snail disease is less, and the management focuses on controlling water and preventing ducks and rats from entering the pond to catch snails and preventing snails from fleeing. The snails should be cultured in shallow water micro-flowing water, and the depth of the pool water should be 25 to 30 cm. It is necessary to keep the pool water flowing during the breeding season and high temperature season.

Pick up

When the snail weighs more than 10 grams, it can be picked and listed in batches. Pick up the pool water and pick it directly from the pool.
