Scientific use of feed additives

<

1, pay attention to use. Follow the instructions on the package to grasp the amount of use. In the case of a large proportion of green roughage and a small amount of formulated feed, the amount may be increased slightly, but not excessively. The use of additives that cannot be used for a long period of time should be used with caution to prevent drug resistance.

2, pay attention to the method of cooperation. According to the type of feed additives to make reasonable cooperation, such as mineral additives and vitamin additives mixed long-term storage should not be, because the minerals can promote vitamin oxidation; preparation of vitamin additives, the water temperature can not be too high, to about 30 °C is appropriate.

3, pay attention to mixing evenly. The proportion of additives in the feed is relatively small, and it is necessary to carry out step-by-step coordination. First mix a small amount of powder and additives, then mix with 1/3 of the feed, and finally mix with the entire feed. Do not mix additives into large amounts of feed at one time.

4, pay attention to feeding methods. Mixed feeds should be fed wet and not cooked at high temperatures because the vitamins, amino acids, antibiotics, and enzyme preparations in the additives are easily partially or completely destroyed at high temperatures. For some preparations that are easy to accumulate in livestock and poultry products and affect consumer food safety, such as certain antibiotics, etc., they must be used strictly in accordance with the relevant instructions and regulations, and overdose and over-range use are strictly prohibited.

5, pay attention to reasonable storage. Additives should be stored in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best to buy now, use it now, and prevent moldy loss. The feed additives that have been formulated with good quality cannot be stored for a long period of time. In the case of a large amount of the additive and the environment is moist, it is better to add the anti-mold preparation to stabilize the feed quality.

In the process of selecting and using additives, the safety of humans and animals should be fully considered, scientific and rational use should be made so that they can play their biggest role in the aquaculture industry and promote the development of animal husbandry.

A Viscometer (also called viscosimeter) is an instrument used to measure the viscosity of a fluid. For liquids with viscosities which vary with flow conditions, an instrument called a rheometer is used. Thus, a rheometer can be considered as a special type of viscometer.[1] Viscometers only measure under one flow condition.

In general, either the fluid remains stationary and an object moves through it, or the object is stationary and the fluid moves past it. The drag caused by relative motion of the fluid and a surface is a measure of the viscosity. The flow conditions must have a sufficiently small value of Reynolds number for there to be laminar flow.

At 20 °C, the dynamic viscosity (kinematic viscosity × density) of water is 1.0038 mPa·s and its kinematic viscosity (product of flow time × factor) is 1.0022 mm2/s. These values are used for calibrating certain types of viscometers.
