As a professional brand operator of Spanish wine, Pan Yuxian, CEO of Castro Wines in Shanghai, said that Spanish wine has a market for young people in China's future, but Spanish wine lacks understanding of Chinese consumers and wine culture.

Gonzalez also pointed out that compared with the same period in 2010, the overall growth rate of Spain exceeded the average of the wine industry. In 2011, the Spanish wine exports to China reached nearly 74 million liters, a year-on-year increase of 56%, and total exports amounted to approximately 72 million euros. But this is "just an open phase." "China is in a growth phase, and it may take 20 or even 40 years for it to mature."
