How to control corn bacterial wilt

<

Corn bacterial wilt occurs mainly in the late growth stage. The leaves are green and dry. The basal stem segments 3-4 dry rot and decay. The roots become hollow and soft. The cortex turns reddish or brown and easily peeled off. In severe cases, the diseased plants lose their water, wilt and die. The incidence rate is generally 10%-15%, and the higher ones can reach more than 30%. The disease is mainly infested in the early stage of corn growth, so prevention should be started sooner rather than later. The selection of disease-resistant varieties for planting disease-resistant varieties is the most cost-effective preventive measure. In recent years, corn seedlings such as Ludan 50, Ludan 981, Nongda 3138, and Yuyu 22 have been cultivated, which are both high-yielding and disease-resistant and can be planted in production. Rotating crops to plant corn in successive years in the same plot can cause large amounts of pathogens to accumulate in the soil and the disease will increase year by year. If rotations are carried out with non-host crops such as soybeans and peanuts, the occurrence of diseases can be significantly reduced. The use of coated seeds, seed coating agents containing bactericidal components and trace elements, can not only resist the infection of pathogens, but also promote the growth of seedlings and enhance disease resistance. The amount of seed coating agent is 1/40-1/50 of the seed amount. The application of zinc and potassium fertilizers to bacterial wilt pathogens is a weak parasite, which occurs only when the corn grows weak in the later period. The application of zinc and potassium fertilizers can make corn grow robustly, greatly improve the disease resistance of corn and reduce the incidence rate. The method is: 1.5-2 kg of zinc fertilizer and 10-15 kg of potassium fertilizer are applied every 1/15 ha of seedling stage of corn, and the mixture is applied to the base of the stem of corn 7-10 cm after mixing. In the middle and late stages of the growth of the corn syrup, it is possible to use 400-times of metalaxyl or 500-fold solution of carbendazim to irrigate the roots. The perfusion solution is 500 ml and has a good therapeutic effect.
