Ramie silkworm rearing techniques

<

Ramie silkworm cocoon and mulberry cocoon, tussah cocoon cocoon are the world's three major raw material resources produced by the silk industry. The castor silk cocoon silk has the unique advantages of good elasticity, strong hygroscopicity, good dyeing, and good spinnability. Ramie cocoon silk and cotton, hemp, wool, chemical fiber and other blended fabrics have become new products for the development of the silk market and are well received by consumers at home and abroad. And, it can also be made into silk space cotton, space quilt, and space suits that adapt to the characteristics of the times. The feeding technology of ramie silkworm is divided into several links, each of which requires strict requirements and careful management can achieve the goal of high yield and high quality. 1. Suitable breeding time for ramie silkworms. The ramie silkworm has relatively strong adaptability. In the South China region, ramie silkworms can be normally reared from January to December, and it can raise 5 to 7 generations in one year. East China and Central China may start from May to October and can support 4 generations in 1 year. Temperatures in northern China after June are suitable for rearing, and they can be raised for 3 generations in September. In order to achieve the objective of not affecting the yield of castor bean and feeding the silkworm silkworm, the best period is in early September, and the rearing of ramie growth is better. At this time, the temperature is about 25°C, which is suitable for the growth and development of ramie silkworms, and the feeding of leaves with ramie silkworms does not affect the yield of castor beans. 2. Selection of improved varieties: The pros and cons of silkworm eggs are directly related to the success or failure of breeding and the yield and quality. Practice has proved that it is better to use the "yellow and white" cultivated by the Sericulture Research Institute of China Academy of Agricultural Sciences in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province. 3. Embryology of silkworm species. After purchasing the silkworm eggs, they are placed in a dark light environment at 22 to 28°C and a humidity of 80% or more to promote the smooth development of the embryos. The silkworm eggs turn brown from white to brown, and hatch into the silkworms after about 8 to 10 days and nights. 4. Receiving ants: After the ants have hatched, the young ramie leaves are cut into small pieces to cover on the silkworm body. After the ant silkworms are attached, the ramie leaves are collected onto the silkworm pupa and the larvae are not collected on the same day. The ant worms must not be mixed together to avoid stunting and difficult feeding management. 5. Picking, transportation and storage of ramie leaves. The more fresh the ramie leaves used for sericulture, the higher the nutritional value and the greater the amount of food consumed. Collecting leaves should be carried out in the morning and in the evening. In the old age, rapid mining and speed transportation should be adopted to avoid the deterioration of the sun and fever. When the leaves are stored, they should be properly sprinkled with water and stored in a cool, clean place. 6. Reasonably give leaves. Feeding the leaves must ensure that the silkworms are fully fed, but also save the use of leaves. Small silkworms were fed ripe and tender leaves, cut into small squares and fed, and 5th instar silkworms could feed whole leaves. 7. Feeding of small silkworms. 1 to 3 years of age is a small silkworm stage, the small silkworm stage is the foundation, to carefully feeding and management. Rationally regulate the feeding environment, select small silkworm leaves, remove silkworm excrement, timely expand silkworms, and use bleach or lime powder to sterilize and prevent disease. 8. Feeding large silkworms. Silkworm silkworm is the key period for the growth of silk glands, must be eaten to the right leaves, often ventilation, timely expansion of sand expansion. Anti-termite rat, wash leaf wet feed. Every 2 to 3 hours feeding once, during the day and night can not be interrupted, to prevent hungry silkworm caused by reduced production. 9. Sleep management. The larvae of silkworm have to sleep 4 times in the whole age period, during which time the physiological changes of the silkworm body are complicated, the physical strength is consumed, the resistance is weakened, and susceptible diseases must be carefully treated. Management to prevent hungry sleep, high temperature, direct sunlight and strong wind blowing. After you sleep, feed fresh and tender leaves, pay attention to the leaves should not be too much. 10. Shangyu management. The ramie silkworm is dehulled into the 5th instar by four times, and after eating for 5 to 6 days, the ramie silkworm is gradually reduced. Excreting a large amount of soft manure and mucus, the body becomes short and transparent, crawling to high places. This is a feature of mature silkworms, and you can pick up the silkworms. It is better to use plastic nets or semi-dried branches with leafy poplar. After the silkworms were cooked on the silkworms, the silking was completed after about 3 days, and the larvae were cured about 5 days later. When the carcass turns brown, use scissors to cut 1/2 of the carp from the perforated end of the carp, and pour out the carp. Do not injure the carcass when cutting and keep the caribou white, dry, and free of pollution. The rational use of leaf sericulture and the development of ramie silkworm cocoon production are the reuse of by-products of ramie, which can directly increase the economic benefits of ramie. Ramie is resistant to drought and salt and has strong adaptability. It is suitable for the development and utilization of barren mountains and wastelands and has developed rapidly in recent years. Feeding ramie silkworms is a small-investment, quick-to-get rich project.
